English is commonly spoken in tourist areas, hotels, larger restaurants, and by many younger people, especially in Budapest. Outside major tourist areas, English may be less common, so having key addresses written down can help.

Mobile Network: Mobile coverage is generally good in cities, towns, and along major transport routes. 4G is widespread and 5G is available in many urban areas, though speeds and signal can be weaker in some rural or hilly areas.

Roaming/SIM/eSIM: If you are from another EU or EEA country, roaming is commonly the simplest option and often works under your home plan terms.
