Mobile Network: Mobile coverage is generally strong in urban areas, on most transport routes, and in many indoor locations. Speeds are typically good on major networks, though some underground or very crowded areas may have weaker signal.

Roaming/SIM/eSIM: Roaming is convenient for short stays but can be expensive unless your plan includes Hong Kong. A local SIM usually offers better value for multi-day trips and heavier data use, and prepaid options are commonly available at the airport, convenience stores, and mobile shops. eSIM is often the easiest option if your phone supports it, especially for arriving already connected.
