No — you can buy as a guest with just an eMail address. An account is optional, and it exists to make everything after the first purchase easier
Buying as a Guest
- Choose a plan, pay, and the eSIM arrives on screen and by eMail
- The confirmation carries a private link to your order that does not expire
- Keep the eMail, and you can return to the installation details at any time
That link is the only way back to a guest order, so keep the eMail. If it is lost, support can help — but with an account you would never have needed to ask.

Creating an account takes an eMail address and a password, and it can be done after a guest purchase — sign up with the same address you used at checkout and the order will be there.
