No — you can buy as a guest with just an eMail address. An account is optional, and it exists to make everything after the first purchase easier

    Buying as a Guest

    • Choose a plan, pay, and the eSIM arrives on screen and by eMail
    • The confirmation carries a private link to your order that does not expire
    • Keep the eMail, and you can return to the installation details at any time

That link is the only way back to a guest order, so keep the eMail. If it is lost, support can help — but with an account you would never have needed to ask.

    What an Account Adds

    Day to Day

    • Every eSIM and order in one place
    • Remaining data at a glance
    • Top up or add a plan in a couple of taps

    Over Time

    • A tDC wallet for credit and rewards
    • A referral code that earns when friends buy
    • Receipts, whenever you need them

Creating an account takes an eMail address and a password, and it can be done after a guest purchase — sign up with the same address you used at checkout and the order will be there.

If you are buying the eSIM for somebody else, buy a gift card instead. That way the plan is chosen and installed by the person who will actually use it — see Can I Buy an eSIM as a Gift?
