Both are entered at checkout, in the field above the total — a promo code reduces the price, a gift card pays part or all of what is left
At Checkout
- Choose your plan and go to checkout
- Open the field for a code or gift card above the total
- Paste the code exactly as it was sent, then apply it
- The total updates before you pay, so you can see what it did
The Order Things Apply In
- A promo code comes off the price first
- A gift card or tDC is then taken off what remains
- Anything still owing is paid by card or another method
Gift cards and tDC are money, so they combine with anything. Percentage discounts do not stack: where a promo code and a bundle price both apply, the better of the two is used rather than both.
If a Code Will Not Apply
- Check for a copied space at either end, and for a confused 0 and O
- Check the expiry date on the offer
- Check any conditions — some codes apply to one destination, one plan type, or first purchases only
- A gift card balance already spent will show as zero rather than as invalid
Apply the code before paying. Neither a promo code nor a gift card can be added to an order that has already gone through, because the amount charged is fixed at that point.
Gift card balances never expire and can be spent across several purchases. There is no need to use one all at once
