    What Is a Regional Plan?

A Regional Plan works across a group of neighbouring countries on one profile, so crossing a border does not mean buying anything or changing a setting

One purchase, one installation, one allowance shared across every country in the region. As you travel, the eSIM connects to whichever local network covers you, and the change happens on its own — you will usually notice only because the operator name at the top of the screen is different.

    What It Solves

    • A trip through several countries without a plan for each one
    • A rail or road journey where the border crossings are not all planned
    • A cruise or tour calling at several ports
    • Work travel with a changeable itinerary

    What to Check Before Buying

    • The country list. Regions are defined by the plan, not by geography or politics, and a neighbour you assume is included sometimes is not
    • The data allowance. It is shared across the whole region — it does not reset at each border
    • The validity. It runs from first activation, not from each country

The single most common disappointment is a country that felt obviously part of the region and was not on the list. The list is on the plan; a Country Plan for the odd one out, bought alongside, is usually the fix.

For a two-country trip, compare a Regional Plan against two Country Plans before deciding. Regional coverage costs more per gigabyte, and with only one border to cross it is not always the cheaper answer
