Can I Use the Same eSIM Again?

Yes — keep the profile installed and buy a new plan onto it whenever you travel. That is the whole advantage of not deleting it

The eSIM profile and the plan are separate things. A plan ends; the profile does not. Leave it on the phone and every future trip starts at the checkout rather than at the set-up.

    Reusing It

    1. Leave the eSIM installed when a plan ends — switch the line off if you prefer
    2. Before the next trip, buy a plan and choose the existing eSIM
    3. Switch the line back on when you land

    What You Save

    • No QR code to find and no installation to do
    • No settings to configure again — roaming and the data line are as you left them
    • No risk of discovering a problem at an airport

A switched-off profile uses nothing: no data, no battery, no charge. There is no cost to keeping one indefinitely.

Whether the same profile can carry a plan for a different region depends on the plan. Some destinations issue onto any existing eSIM; others need a fresh profile, which is shown at checkout and takes the same two minutes the first one did.

The reason to be careful about deleting is exactly this. A deleted profile often cannot be reinstalled — see What Happens if I Delete My eSIM?
